QSMAT Extradosed Bridge Cable System
QSMAT Extradosed Bridge Cable Structure
QSMAT extradosed bridge cable system adopts split tube technology for cable saddle design, which can effectively improve the stress distribution in the tower, disperse and transmit loads evenly. It solves the problem that traditional cable systems cannot adjust or replace single cables, featuring safety, clear stress, excellent anti-corrosion, outstanding fatigue resistance and convenient construction.

Anchorage
The anchorage generally adopts steel strand clip anchoring form, with adjusting nuts at one or both ends, equipped with auxiliary structures such as anti-loosening device, sealing device and vibration damping device.

Cable Body
The extradosed cable body is mainly composed of multiple steel strands with HDPE sheath. Steel strands include epoxy coated steel strand, galvanized steel strand, epoxy coated unbonded steel strand, etc. Our company recommends epoxy coated unbonded steel strand; HDPE sheath can be smooth round tube or spiral round tube for rain-wind induced vibration resistance.

Cable Saddle
Adopt split tube bundle cable saddle to make each steel strand evenly distributed and stressed, facilitating later replacement of single steel strand.

Anti-slip Anchoring Device
The steel strand cables of extradosed bridge directly pass through the pre-embedded cable saddle in the tower end and are anchored at the beam end. To prevent unbalanced force on both sides of the cable saddle, an anti-slip device must be installed near the cable saddle. The device adopts independent anchoring form for single cable replacement, using anti-slip keys to extrude and anchor each steel strand, then locking the strand bundle with fixing device to achieve anti-slip effect.
