External Prestress System
External Prestress Cable

Anchoring Device
External tendons are placed outside the concrete structure, only bonded at anchorages and deviators. The strain amplitude of tendons under live loads is critical. QSM provides two types of anchorage for different project requirements.

Anti-Loosening Device
Anti-loosening measures for external prestress anchors: 1. The wedge design has self-locking capability. 2. Additional anti-loosening devices installed after wedge seating.

Steering Device
We provide various steering devices: single-tube, double-tube, steel tube bundle, box-type wire-splitting deviators for different cable configurations.

Vibration Damping Device
To avoid resonance, damping devices are installed at proper positions to shorten the free vibration length and suppress harmful vibration of the cable.

Anti-Corrosion System
Strand corrosion protection includes galvanizing, epoxy coating, and filling. External cable systems use cement grout, epoxy mortar, grease, polyurethane, and wax filling.
