Components of Rotation Spherical Hinge System
The rotation spherical hinge system mainly consists of upper spherical hinge, lower spherical hinge (including central rotating shaft and shaft sleeve), lower spherical hinge support, slideway, support legs and other key components. Adopting a modular design concept, the system ensures coordinated operation of all components to achieve stable and controllable bridge rotation.



As the fixed part of the rotation system, the lower spherical hinge is firmly connected to the foundation structure. It cooperates with the upper spherical hinge through a precision-machined spherical surface to form a stable rotating pair.
The system is equipped with a monitoring system for spherical hinge stress and beam inclination angle, which monitors key parameters in real time during rotation to ensure construction safety. The sliders and sliding plates used on the lower spherical hinge are made of high-performance polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) material, equipped with lubricating oil grooves and an oil supply system, resulting in a low friction coefficient between the upper and lower spherical hinges. This ensures smooth rotation with low traction force.

Rotation Traction Equipment
The rotation traction equipment integrates Internet of Things (IoT), computer, hydraulic and automatic control technologies. It is equipped with an automatic clamping/releasing device for steel strands, enabling seamless alternation between the front jack and rear jack to ensure smooth, shock-free and vibration-free rotation. It features a real-time status monitoring system during traction, which records oil pressure, displacement, traction force, rotation angle and other operating data of the pump station and jacks throughout the process. The hydraulic pump station adopts variable frequency speed regulation for flow control, realizing stepless speed adjustment.
The continuous traction jack is equipped with a displacement sensor for elongation data collection, with a control accuracy of 0.1 mm. It forms a closed-loop control with the pump station frequency converter to achieve precise synchronization and dual control of pressure and displacement. This system features excellent synchronization, balanced traction force and precise inching intelligent monitoring, delivering smooth, shock-free and vibration-free rotation. It is suitable for horizontal or vertical rotation construction of various bridges and large components in major engineering projects.
