Cables Pave the Way, Craftsmanship Shines over Jianye Bridge | QSM Empowers Zhuji Landmark Municipal Project
QSM has recently completed the manufacturing and installation of stay cables for Jianye Bridge, a key municipal project in Zhuji Economic and Technological Development Zone, Zhejiang Province. As a local landmark double-arch-tower landscape cable-stayed bridge, Jianye Bridge stretches approximately 1,117 meters and features an original water-drop-shaped arch tower design with high urban recognition.

Adopting new high-corrosion-resistant ST steel strand cable bodies and innovative construction techniques, the project team overcame multiple construction difficulties and fully delivered the original design vision. For its outstanding performance, QSM was honored as an Excellent Supplier and Excellent Construction Unit. Upon opening to traffic, the bridge will optimize regional traffic connectivity, boost the development of the local intelligent vision innovation and manufacturing base, and further demonstrate QSM’s comprehensive strength in integrated cable-stayed cable manufacturing and construction services.

Recently, QSM has fully completed the manufacturing and on-site installation of stay cables and supporting accessories for Jianye Bridge (Taozhu North Road-Ji North Road), a core supporting project of the intelligent vision innovation and manufacturing base in Zhuji Economic and Technological Development Zone, Shaoxing City, Zhejiang Province. The total length of the bridge is about 1,117 meters, with a main bridge length of approximately 588 meters. Boasting an original water-drop-shaped double arch tower structure, the project serves as a high-recognition landscape cable-stayed bridge and a benchmark municipal engineering project in Zhuji Economic and Technological Development Zone.
QSM undertook the full scope of production, manufacturing and installation of all stay cables and matching accessories for the project. The bridge adopts innovative high-corrosion-resistance and high-stress steel strand stay cables, which outperform traditional cable products with higher tensile strength, superior fatigue resistance and longer anti-corrosion service life. Meanwhile, customized precise cable matching and integrated tensioning and adjustment technologies are applied to perfectly adapt to the special-shaped stress structure of the water-drop arch tower. The innovative construction process accurately meets the nonlinear stress requirements of the bridge, effectively improving the overall structural stability and extending the service life of the landmark bridge.

Throughout the project implementation, QSM’s professional team strictly implemented national and industrial standards with rigorous quality and safety management. The team comprehensively controlled the whole process including factory cable manufacturing, on-site cable erection, tensioning and cable adjustment. Actively tackling multiple construction challenges such as high-altitude operation and cross construction, the team delivered precise construction at every step and perfectly realized the unique landscape and structural design of the water-drop-shaped arch tower cable-stayed bridge.
